Ordinary Backdrops by Louis De Belle

A careful use of framing and composition transforms the urban scenes captured by Italian photographer Louis De Belle in his photo series Ordinary Backdrops.

Taken while travelling through the south of Japan, the everyday backdrops are propelled to the forefront of his images, becoming the primary focus of the collection.

Ordinary Backdrops is set to be featured in Forms of Formalism, an exhibition that will feature a book of the same name.
